Please join us for an uplifting weekend of worship and reflection as the Hawthorne Seventh-day Adventist Church presents “Knowing The Master.” This special two-day event, held November 14–15, 2025, will feature guest speaker Dr. Sunia Fukofuka, a respected educator and pastor whose messages inspire faith and deepen understanding of Christ’s calling.
A Weekend of Spiritual Renewal
The “Knowing The Master” series is designed to help believers grow in their personal relationship with Christ and understand the purpose of discipleship. Dr. Fukofuka will present three sessions throughout the weekend:
The Heart of the Master
The Call of the Master
Steward of the Master
Each session will invite attendees to reflect on the character of Christ, His invitation to follow, and the responsibility of living as faithful stewards of His grace.
Schedule of Events
Friday, November 14
6:00 PM – Part 1 Seminar
Light refreshments will be provided as Dr. Fukofuka opens the series with the first session.
Sabbath, November 15
9:30 AM – Sabbath School
11:00 AM – Divine Service
12:30 PM – Vegetarian Potluck Lunch
3:00 PM – Part 2 Seminar
The Sabbath gatherings will feature worship, learning, and fellowship centered on knowing and serving the Master.
About Dr. Sunia Fukofuka
Dr. Sunia Fukofuka is a respected educator and pastor who serves as a professor at Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee, and as a pastor for a local congregation in the area. Originally from the Kingdom of Tonga, Dr. Fukofuka has served in ministry and education for many years, sharing his passion for Scripture, discipleship, and community leadership.
His balanced approach as both a teacher and pastor brings practical insight and spiritual depth to his messages. Through his ministry, he continues to encourage believers to pursue a genuine relationship with Christ and to live lives of purpose and service.
